The Széchenyi István University (SZE) is located in the city of Győr and Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary. It was founded in 2002. It has excellent reputation in the field of electrical equipment and mechanical engineering, and cooperates with the German carmaker Audi AG (a division of VW Group). The University is located in the center of the s.c. Golden Triangle of Central Europe: halfway between the capitals of Hungary, Austria and Slovakia. It implements educational programs and also drives research in the field of engineering — especially for automotive industry, information technologies, architectural pedagogics, economics, international relations, law and management, social work, medicine and health, musical art, agriculture and teacher training from professional bachelor courses master's as well as doctoral studies and additional training.
In addition, the Széchenyi István University takes active part in the international scientific and research events and supports active cooperation with higher educational institutions both within the country and abroad.
In June, 2017 an MOU between Minin University and the Széchenyi István University was signed. Under the MOU, joint conferences, seminars and other events are held; there is also exchange of scientific information and researches publications, on upcoming scientific, educational and cultural events.
