28 December, Erevan (Armenia) - Minin University and Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU) agree to cooperate in a number of spheres, including education reforming, teaching methodology, the Russian language and literature and others.
Russian-Armenian University was established as a result of a governmental agreement of the two countries: Russia and Armenia in 1997. Rector of the University Armen Darbinyan ia an Armeniyan former prime minister. RAU highly evaluated the Development strategy-2023 of Minin University. Moreover, RAU got interested in Minin University as a proactive member of the governmental project of pedagogical education modernization. Mr Darbinyan considers the Russian University to be a prospective and valuable partner.
The agreement has been signed in order to develop joint scientific work and increase academic mobility of both teachers and students. Within the agreement events and activities are planned to be organized as follows: cultural schools, short-term and long-term students' and teachers' exchanges, conferences, forums, releasing joint scientific publications etc.
