On November 8 and 9, the VI Forum of the Volga-Yangtze Association of Higher Education Institutions was held in Nanchang (Jiangxi Province) within the framework of the meeting of the Council for Cooperation between the regions of the Volga Federal District of Russia and the provinces of the Upper and Middle reaches of the Yangtze River of the People's Republic of China.
During the meeting the joint work of Russian and Chinese universities and the scientific and educational potential of this work were discussed. Minin University was presented by the Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Academic Mobility of Minin University Olga Fadeenkova.
"Within the framework of the partnership between Russia and China, we pay attention not only to deepening and expanding trade, economic, scientific and technical potential, but also strive for strong friendly ties among young people! After all, the unity and cooperation of our younger generation is the basis for a strong foundation of interstate relations in the future," said Igor Komarov.
The Association was established in 2017 and unites more than 80 Russian and Chinese universities. Today it is one of the powerful tools for the development of the Russian-Chinese university partnership. The events held within the framework of its activities enable the participants to exchange advanced experience and knowledge in the educational, scientific, technical and humanitarian fields, as well as contribute to the growth of the Volga-Yangtze interregional cooperation potential and strengthen the strategic partnership between Russia and China.
