On May 28-30, 2019 Head of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages and Linguodidactics Department, Evgeny Plisov, took part in the international scientific-practical conference “Education, culture, science” in Niš University (Serbia). The conference was organized by the Faculty of Philosophy of Niš University with the participation of the Association for Orthodox Scholars, the Center for Byzantine-Slavic Studies and the International Center for Orthodox Studies in Niš (Republic of Serbia).
The conference was attended by over 100 scientists from Serbia, Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine and Germany. The participants discussed the theoretical and methodological foundations of modern education, issues of preserving historical heritage, psychological aspects of the educational and educational process in educational institutions on different levels, the role of basic spiritual values in preserving and transmitting culture, updating the patristic heritage in modern conditions, as well as philology, sociology and law in terms of spiritual and moral issues.
Evgeny Plisov presented the report "Features of the formation of the Orthodox confession in German-speaking religious discourse." The conference discussed issues of cooperation between the teachers and the students of Niš University and the Serbian Academy of Science and Art with Minin University.
Please note that this year, Doctor of Philology, Researcher at the Institute of the Serbian Language of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Belgrad, Serbia) Ruzhitsa Levushkina joined the organizing committee of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Discussion: Questions of Philology and Foreign Language Teaching Methods” held at Minin University on April 4-5, 2019. R. Levushkina presented the report “Russian and Serbian Orthodox cultures - comparative lexical analysis”, during which the functioning of the Russian and Serbian languages in the sphere of Orthodox spirituality was analyzed.
