Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University (Minin University) is carrying out the annual Public Report on implementation of the University Development Strategy for the years of 2013 - 2023 on 07.12. 2017 at 10:30. This event, which is of great importance for the University as well as for the regional development, is going to be attended by the academic staff, students of the University, headmasters and the teachers of 200 schools of Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Metropolitan of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, rectors of 30 Russian and foreign higher education institutions, the representatives of public organizations, Presidium of Coordination Council and Federal educational and methodical Association in the field of education “Education and pedagogical sciences”, and the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation..
This year the Public Report of the Minin University tackles the following issues: the results of four years' participation in the federal project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation “Modernization of pedagogical education in the Russian Federation” are going to be summed up, the implementation of the priority directions of development is going to be shown, and problems of implementation of the state policy in the field of pedagogical education in the regional landscape are going to be discussed.
The following topics meeting priorities of the federal and global educational agenda are brought to expert discussion and decision making this year:
- From the pedagogical university to the university of education: concept of transformation;
- Regional social and pedagogical clusters and modern systems of career guidance;
- Digital pedagogics: the systems of electronic services and new didactics;
- New philosophy of teaching: new division of pedagogical work and national system of teacher's growth;
- Target training and contract employment: formation of regional pedagogical elite.
- Convention of generations: new design of policy of education and development.
- Export of the Russian model of pedagogical education: “the Chinese project”.
It is important to note that in 2017 the representatives of the Minin University were awarded by the Government of the Russian Federation for the contribution to development of the new system of educational activity , they also earned honorable mention of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for active participation in implementation of the program of modernization of the higher pedagogical education.
