28 January - 5 February, France - The senior lecturer of Foreign Languages and Foreign Professional Communication department of Humanities Faculty Olgya Tarasova took part in the international conference “Contemporary issues of teaching humanities: theoretical and applied aspects” and successfully passed a training course at Centre International d'Antibes (France), which was organized by the Association of teachers of the French language with support of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation in cooperation with Russian and French embassies. Teachers from France, Russia, Belgium, Belorussia and Cameroon participated in the event.

It is not the first year Olgya Tarasova has been invited to the conference for she is a member of the French language teachers' Association . This year she made a report on “The role of individual reading in teaching French”. During the conference the teachers shared theoretical and practical experience, discussed cultural and historical interinfluence of Russia and France, mastered new technologies of teaching and also discussed ways to make lessons more exciting and captivating.
