After crossing the border of the Russian Federation and your arrival in Nizhny Novgorod, you must be registered for migration at the place of stay no later than 7 days counting from the date of crossing the border. This obligation cannot be waived or changed. Violation of this rule may lead to your deportation and a ban on entry into the Russian Federation.  If you plan to live in a university dormitory, you will registered for migration by  the Minin University.
