The fight between Andrei Sirotkin and Artyom Karpets took place on July 30, 2020 in Minsk at the international boxing tournament Kold Wars. Andrei Sirotkin, a titled athlete, a graduate student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, won a landslide victory over his rival.

It should be mentioned that Andrei was preparing for a fight with another boxer but the British athlete could not take part in the tournament, due to the pandemic, and the replacement was made shortly before the fight. But all these circumstances did not prevent Andrei from gaining an inside-the-distance victory in the fourth round.
Also, representatives of the British boxer, who couldn’t participate in the tournament, sent an offer to Andrei Sirotkin to hold a fight in September. We are sure that our athlete will successfully carry out this fight and will impress all fans of boxing with his new victories.

Notes:

Andrei Sirotkin was the World and European champion in amateur boxing, but he has spent the last six years performing on a professional level. Andrei has 18 wins and only one defeat on his list: in October 2018, he was knocked out by the English boxer John Ryder. Sirotkin also won five times by knockouts. For instance: a year before his only defeat, he clinched a Nicaraguan boxer Ricargo Mayorgi and took the WBA intercontinental belt. In February, a 35-year-old Sirotkin defeated another Russian athlete, Apti Ustarkhanov, by the decision of the jury and won the WBC Asian champion’s belt.
