Minin university foreign students together with the Deputy head of the international education and cooperation center, Ms. Emilia Borovik, participated in a meeting of the student debate club "Dialogue on equal terms". The meeting was held at the Boiling Point work space of the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod on November 1, 2022.
Representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod city council, the Youth chamber of the city council, leaders of Nizhny Novgorod youth associations and communities and foreign students studying at various universities of Nizhny Novgorod took part in the meeting of the club.
During the meeting participants discussed possibilities of expanding communication of foreign students and youth of Nizhny Novgorod as well as developing new projects to create a comfortable adaptive environment for everyone who comes to our city to study.
Minin university foreign students always participate in citywide and regional events such as national cultural festivals and student clubs’ meetings. University representatives are also members of the Nizhny Novgorod region council of foreign students. Moreover, Minin university develops new methods of social adaptation for foreign students, which later will be offered for wider use. These methods also include students’ involvement in the work of youth organizations and expansion of intercultural interaction among young people.
Annually, our city welcomes students from more than two hundred countries and providing a comfortable educational environment for all students, including foreign ones, is the issue of highest priority.
