The Ministry of Education and Science has published the results of annual universities' effectiveness monitoring. According to the data Minin university has qualified in all seven criteria and is regarded as one of the most effective higher education institutions, showing the most significant growth over a four-year period.
It should be mentioned that according to the results of the first monitoring held in 2012 the university was announced ineffective in all 7 criteria. Due to this fact the management of University was changed, the university went through rebranding, and an ambitious but quite realistic strategy of priority development was worked out and introduced. Consistently obtaining set values of effectiveness Minin university demonstrated not only the ability to handle crises but also cardinally enhance the results of activity. For instance, the index of scientific and research activity has grown by 57% in the period, the index of international activity has shown even bigger increase - 64%, whereas the indices of salary and financial activity have risen by 22.4 and 17.5% respectively.
Moreover an average point of admission exams has increased by almost 10 points (out of 100) which indicates the fact that the quality of first-year students has improved.
