A Memorandum of Intent was signed by the Rector of Minin University Viktor Sdobnyakov and the Rector of Ludong University Li Heliang (China). The universities plan to implement joint programs for Chinese and Russian students.
"The development of partnership between Russia and China in the field of education and science is a strategic task for our states. Minin University has been interacting with Chinese universities since 2015, and the boundaries of cooperation are constantly expanding. Ludong University is a major scientific center with more than 80 bachelor's degree programs, 60 master's degree programs and doctoral studies. Now the priority area for development within the framework of the common work of our two universities is pedagogical education, including in terms of natural science disciplines," said Viktor Sdobnyakov.
Thus, the number of Minin University partners among Chinese universities has increased to 8. Minin University together with Chinese partner universities implement exchange programs for both students and teachers, double degree programs. More than 40 students of Minin University are studying in higher education programs in China. Chinese students enroll both in the bachelor's degree programs of Minin University and in the Preparatory Course in order to master the Russian language and adapt to life in Russia.
In addition, in December 2023, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch of "Russia-China Friendship Association" was opened on the basis of Minin University and became a platform for official events, meetings of delegations, educational classes for students, and professional skills competitions.
