Ms. Marina Zekina (major: English and Elementary education)

I got a chance to take part in the SKLAD international online internship. The program lasted for 3 weeks and during this time speakers from the USA, Estonia, Singapore, Latvia, Spain, Portugal, South Korea shared with us their experience in teaching the 21st century competencies and their integrating into teachers’ work. Each lecture was a small journey to the education system of a particular country. Lecturers talked about teaching methods, shared their experiences and techniques of working with children. At online open lessons held as part of the internship, the participants were introduced to experimental programs at elementary school, which, of course, was very interesting and useful for both future and current teachers. I have found a lot of interesting ideas, methods and techniques that I will definitely apply in my English lessons in the near future.

Ms. Elizaveta Litsova (major: English and Elementary education)

From March 11 to March 25 I was participating in the international online internship “Elementary School of the 21st Century. Foreign Practices”. During the program we studied various techniques of teaching the XXI century competencies in elementary schools of Singapore, South Korea, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Estonia, Latvia and Russia.

During the internship we also discussed relevant issues and aspects of the modern elementary school development as well as innovative approaches to the forms of educational process organization.

For me, the most interesting and effective model of elementary schoolchildren training is the Singaporean one. This model is aimed at developing the "4K" competencies and forming of an active, self-confident, diversified personality interested in lifelong learning.

I was lucky to meet teachers who love their job, teach children with interest and great passion, apply modern methods and use blended learning techniques to create a comfortable educational environment.

I am sure that new knowledge and skills will help me in my future professional activity.

Ms. Anastasia Kulemalina (major: Psychology and pedagogics of elementary education)

This online internship was extremely useful for me. At webinars I got a lot of theoretical knowledge about the structure and work of educational systems in different countries. Nevertheless, practical aspects of the course were of the greatest importance to me. I would like to thank the speakers who thoroughly explained all the information and gave detailed answers to all the questions. Also, I would like to thank the organizers who have done such a titanic work gathering so many people on one Internet platform. I will definitely use the techniques I have learned during this internship in my future work.

Ms. Ksenia Khokhlova (major: Psychology and pedagogics of elementary education)

I liked the internship a lot. Due to this program I gained new experience and was able to visit different parts of the world while staying at home. I learned a lot of new things and was especially impressed by the education system in South Korea. I would like to try these methods in our Russian education.
