We were lucky to participate in the international exchange program between the students of Xi'an International Studies University (China) and Minin University. The first days in Xian, in spite of the fact that we were tired after the long flight, were fantastic. At the airport we were met by the Chinese volunteers studying Russian. They helped us to get accustomed to student's life and we felt at home thanks to the atmosphere they created for us. The opening ceremony where we showed knowledge of foreign languages became one of the brightest events.
Later we have got acquainted with teachers of the Xian University of the translation. Despite difficulties in communication, they always try to explain everything in detail, to help and show the way to move on. Despite all loyalty to foreign students, they are still rather demanding, when assisting in studying Chinese. They were kind and hospitable.
Also we have been very impressed with the conditions created for successful versatile development of students: various clubs, comfortable recreation areas and a wide range of sports facilities for training. As for the hostel, we have been pleasantly surprised with the provided conditions. Rooms are light, spacious, equipped with all conveniences.
We are glad to become a part of this program and we hope for further development of such programs. We thank Minin University for the given opportunity and we are sending you lots of love from China.
