The vice rector for network cooperation and social partnership of Minin University Mikhail Solovyov has noted that it was a valuable experience for students from ANU and  Minin University:

"The knowledge gained during work of school can’t be found in textbooks. Only face-to face communication can give the answers to all the questions, bring you the delight of spending time together. We will wait for you again; we wish you strong progress in studying the Russian language and culture!"

Head of delegation of students of ANU Li Biying thanked for an opportunity to feel the culture of Russia and for sincere reception and on behalf of ANU invited the students make a return visit to their University.

Following the Closing ceremony the song “Katyusha” was sung in the Russian and Chinese languages by the students of  ANU  and Minin University. The students of ANU recited Shakespeare sonnet №18 in the Chinese and English languages. Finally the students sang the song about friendship in Chinese and Russian and recalled some memorable moments of the visit.

The participants of the summer school got certificates and memorable presents.

During 10 days of studying Russian and Culture the Chinese students  visited the Kremlin, the museum Arsenal, Rukavishnikov' estate, the historical park "Russia is My History", Khokhloma Painting factory in Semyonov, the ropeway, the educational  recreational center for children"Zvezdochka", the town of all trades in Gorodets and also have conducted joint lessons of the Chinese and Russian languages.

The Chinese students have shared the impressions of a trip and expressed the words of gratitude to Minin University in Russian. They noted that during this time they managed to find new friends, to be acquainted with the Russian culture and to try dishes of Russian cuisine.

"We love M. Gorky's literature very much, and we enjoyed visiting Kashirin's House where Alyosha Peshkov grew up".

The head of the Chinese Department of the Minin University Tatyana Charchoglyan explained that it was the first visit to Russia for the students and the tutors:

"We saw their reaction, they like the Minin University and Nizhny Novgorod very much. The Students have a very good command of Russian".

Ms Charchoglyan has also noted the importance of participation Minin University students in the summer school:

"It was very interesting for the students of Minin University to participate in the summer school as they hardly ever have an opportunity to communicate with native speakers. For students it is both a language practice and the experience of volunteering".
