December 17, 2019, foreign students of Minin university participated in the X International Festival of National Cultures “In this big world”. The festival included a series of events aimed at expanding students’ knowledge about the diversity of national cultures, specifics of national traditions and customs of the peoples all over the world and strengthening of moral values and tolerance among young people.

According to the results of the annual international rating of “green” universities - UI GreenMetric, Minin University took the 7th position among Russian universities. The university entered the top three among 46 Russian universities-participants in the nomination "waste management". In the world ranking Minin University moved up by more than 10 positions, leaving behind many leading universities from Russia, the USA, Western and Northern Europe.

The joint program of the French Institute in Russia and the International Center for Pedagogical Research in the city of Sevres provides an opportunity for Russian students to work in secondary schools in France as Russian language teacher assistants. In May 2019, Ms. Olga Skvortsova, a 5th year student specializing in teaching English and French, became the winner of the All-Russian competition of Russian language teacher assistants.
